Robert Wauhop

Robert was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Although hearing the good news of the gospel while growing up, it was not until the beginning of high school that God graciously saved him, bringing him to repent of his sin and trust in Christ. After meeting his wife in college, they were married after graduation and moved to Los Angeles for three and a half years to study at The Master’s Seminary and serve at Grace Community Church. Prior to coming to Immanuel Bible Church in 2021, Robert served as the youth pastor at Faith Bible Church in Sharpsburg, GA for almost nine years.

Robert is a graduate of Liberty University (B.S. in Biblical Studies) and The Master's Seminary (M.Div. (2012), Th.M. (2014), D.Min. (2021)). Robert and his wife Ashley have four children



Elders

Mike Imamura

Mike was born in Denver, Colorado and spent most of his childhood life in St. Petersburg, FL. During college in NC he was confronted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Lord opened his eyes to his own sin and need for Christ. Shortly after graduation, He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. During that time at college he met his wife, Jennifer and they have been married for over 30 years and have been blessed with four girls. Professionally, Mike has a career in the Pharmaceutical industry since 1998. He has served in a leadership role in another church before moving to Valdosta, GA in 2005. Mike is one of the founding elders of Immanuel Bible Church in 2019.

Richie Setser

Richie was converted to Christ in 1990 while serving in the US Air Force in the lead up to the first Gulf War. He has been an elder at IBC since our inception and has been teaching the Bible for 26 years. He served as an elder for 7 years previously in another church. He and his wife Kelle have two adult sons, who are married to wonderful wives, and they have four grandchildren. In addition to serving as elder, Richie volunteers as a male counselor at the local crisis pregnancy center. Vocationally he is an airline pilot based in New York. He enjoys studying and teaching, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and his church family.
